USED vs LOVED

While a man was polishing his new car,
his 4 yr old son picked up a stone
and scratched lines on the side of the car.

In anger, the man took the child's hand

and hit it many times not realizing
he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers

due to multiple fractures.

When the child saw his father.....

with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'

The man was so hurt and speechless;

he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.

Devastated by his own actions......

sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches;

the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.
The next day that man committed suicide. . .

Anger and Love have no limits;

choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely
life & remember this:

Things are to be used and people are to be loved.
The problem in today's world is

that people are used while things are loved.

Let's try always to keep this thought in mind:

UiTM Shah Alam Ditutup?

Actuly ni berita yang aku baru dapat. Kemungkinan besar UiTM induk di Shah Alam ditutup sementara waktu bagi mengelakkan penularan wabak selesema babi. Sebelum nie, 4 cawangan UiTM telah ditutup.

Kes ini dikesan semalam dan mulai merebak. Apapun tunggu keputusan petang nie.

Seronok ler staff dan student. Bleh bercuti sakan eh. Tapi sapa yg terkena tu la yg merana. Tp takpe, benda tu pun dah ada vaksin dah. Cuma yang tak berapa sedap, vaksin tu juga diperbuat dari babi. So, kepada pakar perubatan muslim, usahakanlah untuk mencari vaksin yang `halal`.

Update: Cuti pertengahan semester Sesi Julai-November secara rasmi dipinda ke tarikh baru iaitu bermula pada 27 Julai dan berakhir 2 Ogos 2009 (26 Julai hingga 1 Ogos bagi UiTM Kelantan, Terengganu dan Kedah). Tarikh baru ini berkuatkuasa bagi seluruh sistem UiTM kecuali UiTM Cawangan Melaka Kampus Lendu sahaja.

RON 92 VS RON 97

Aku rasa ramai yg tak tahu kan RON92 RON97 and RON 99 tu benda apa. Actuly benda2 ni semua menunjukkan rantaian molekul dalam minyak. Kebanykan kenderaan tahun 80an dan awal 90 an boleh menggunakan minyak RON92. Manakala kebanyakan kenderaan sekrang menggunakan engine yg menggunakan RON97. Dan byk yg salah faham, kereta yg dikeluarkan pada tahun 2000 tak semestinya menggunakan engine yg dibuat pada tahun 2000 jugak.

Kita ambik contoh kereta Wira. Kebanykan dikeluarkan pada tahun 90an. Tetapi tahukah kita kereta WIRA menggunakan engine recycle dari kenderaan mitsubishi yg dikeluarkan(engine dibuat) pada tahun 80 an? Mcm minyak V-Power plak, setahu aku, untuk kenderaan `mewah` latest mcm Honda accord yg baru. Apa korang ingat, klau korang pakai kancil tapi menggunakan minyak V-Power kenderaan korang akan laju? hehe. Ni salah satu email yg aku dapat untuk menyokong statement aku. Email2 ini telah byk disebar sebab tu la minyak V-Power terpaksa turunkan harga. Apapun Kredit untuk abg aku yg bagi information ni. And juga kepada email dari yahoo respek group.

Understanding The Difference between RON92, RON95, RON97 and RON99

The Difference between RON92, RON95, RON97 and RON99
Many said that RON92 oil is the older oil, only suitable for older cars or for cars that uses carburetor only. There are also some that said that RON92 oil will make the engine dirty and also said that RON92 oil is less powerful compared to RON97 and RON99. Before you make any false assumptions, let us see what the real meaning of RON is.

RON stands for Research Octane Number. Octane number or octane rating refers to the gasoline ability to withstand auto ignition (knocking) inside the engine. Higher octane number refers to higher ability of the oil to fight auto ignition. In other words, it means that RON95 is harder to ignite compared to RON92.

Different vehicles are designed to be use with different octane number of oil. Higher octane number oil is basically designed for high performance vehicles such as sport vehicle and racing vehicle. Why is that so? This is to avoid premature ignition of oil inside the engine because of auto ignition, which happens before the spark plug ignite the fuel. This phenomenon is known as knocking. Knocking is not wanted because it reduces the performance of vehicle.

The right usage of octane number based on design and adjustment of engine will maximize the performance and effectiveness of the vehicle. Modern vehicles are equipped with knock sensor which enables it to adjust its combustion timing automatically according to the oil octane number to avoid knocking or premature ignition of oil.

Not all vehicles require high octane number petrol. You can check your vehicle fuel requirement inside the guide book of your vehicle or you can simply check the minimum Octane Rating at the back of the fuel lid cover of your vehicle. Most cars can still use RON92.

Higher RON number does not means that it is more powerful. It means that it is harder to ignite. It will also cost you more.

TACOMA BRIDGE : Kejayaan Dan Kegagalan Kejuruteraan

Pada 1 Julai 1940, Sejarah telah dicipta dalam bidang kejuruteraan. Sebuah jambatan yang mengambil kira force seperti torsion telah dicipta oleh para professor. Jambatan ini menjadi lambang kemegahan bidang kejuruteraan pada abad itu. Jambatan itu dilengkapi dengan `damper` bagi mengelakkan jambatan runtuh akibat seperti gempa bumi. Malangnya, kuasa angin, wind power telah diabaikan. Pada ketika itu, bidang aerodinamik dianggap remeh. Lihat sahaja reka bentuk kenderaan pada ketika itu. Berkotak2.

Selepas kegagalan besar ini, bidang aerodinamik menjadi salah satu cabang penting dalam kejuruteraan mekanikal khususnya. Semua jambatan2 termasuk bangunan akan dibina dalam skala yang kecil dan diuji dalam lubang angin, (wind tunnel). Menara berkembar Petronas juga telah diuji dalam lubang angin ini untuk melihat daya ketahanan bangunan ketika angin kuat.
